The Berlin Thunder were an NFL Europe team from 1999 to 2007. They first appeared in Madden NFL 2001 and last appeared in Madden NFL 08. Their overall ranged from 45 to 55. The Thunder are also the only NFL Europe team based on stormy weather.

Berlin Stadium was where the Thunder played. The stadium had a grassy field surface type with a capacity of 20,000 to 30,000.

Trivia[]
- Like the other NFL Europe teams, changes were made only on the jersey.
- Have won the World Bowl 3 times (2001, 2002, and 2004) and appeared in the World Bowl 4 times (2001, 2002, 2004, and 2005).
- One of the only few NFL Europe teams to appear in 2 consecutive World Bowls twice.
- Only NFL Europe team to win back to back World Bowls.
- They have returned in the new European League of Football that started in 2021 albeit with a different logo and different uniforms.
- They can be used in the tournament game mode from Madden NFL 2002 to Madden NFL 07 but not Madden NFL 08 even though Madden NFL 08 was their last appearance.
