The body texture glitch is a glitch in The Yard mode and main menu of Madden NFL 21 and a glitch in the franchise mode of Madden NFL 22. It is a glitch where the head texture and body texture of a player does not have the same skin tone.
In Madden NFL 21 the glitch caused players to sometimes have a light skinned face but a dark skin body or vice versa, an obvious mismatch which does not happen in real life. In Madden NFL 22 the glitch manifests as a flat gray texture being used for the face and a valid skin tone being applied to the rest of the body, making it appear as if the player's face has been petrified or painted gray.
