London Monarchs

The London Monarchs were an NFL Europe team from 1991 to 1998. Their overall was from 35 to 65. They never appeared in any Madden game under the NFL Europe license, however they were playable in Madden 96 using a cheat code. Madden NFL 2001 was the first Madden game to feature NFL Europe teams and the Monarchs folded two years before Madden NFL 2001 was released. They appeared in World Bowl of only 1991 and only won that 1991 World Bowl.

Wembley Stadium

The Monarchs played at Wembley Stadium from 1991 to 1998. It had a turf surface field type with a max capacity of around 40,000.

Uniform

Home: Gold Helmet, Blue Jersey, Gold Pants with red and white stripes.

Away: Gold Helmet, Silver Jersey, Gold pants with blue and red stripes.

Trivia

• The Monarchs were a unlockable team in Madden '96 on the Sega Genesis by pressing CBCBBBB at the team select menu.
• Like other NFL Europe teams, the changes were only on the uniform.
• In 1998, they were known as the England Monarchs for only one year.
