The Los Angeles Rams are a playable NFL team in the Madden NFL series. From 1995-2015, the franchise was headquartered in Earth City, Missouri and dubbed the "St. Louis Rams." In the 2016-17 season, the Rams homecoming to LA did not help them play more efficiently. They went 4-12, 3rd in NFC West, and missed the playoffs for the 12th consecutive year. Later, the team fired head coach Jeff Fisher, who led the Rams to only 4-9, finishing the 2016 season at 4-12. The Rams later became playoff contenders after hiring Sean McVay, and are led by Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald and Matthew Stafford.
