Madden NFL '94 is an NFL sports video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by EA Sports.
It is the first game in the Madden NFL series to have an official National Football League license. As a result, the teams are named the same as the real life NFL teams of the era, instead of generic location names. A NFL Players Association license had not yet been granted to EA, thus the rosters still use generic names for NFL players.
