Madden NFL 21 is an American football video game, developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts. Based on the National Football League (NFL), it released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on August 28, 2020. A Google Stadia port was announced but has not been released. This game would also mark the newly re-named Las Vegas Raiders after the 2019-2020 NFL season leaving Oakland for a second time, first time was their stint in Los Angeles in the 1980s and 1990s. It would also reflect the Washington Redskins being re-named into the Washington Football Team albeit for only 2 seasons.
It is the first Madden game released on ninth generation consoles, being released for Xbox Series X on November 10, 2020 and PlayStation 5 on December 4, 2020.

Unlike most games in the Madden NFL series, which usually reach a score of 80-89 on Metacritic, a review aggregator site, Madden NFL 21 received a mixed combined review score on Metacritic of only 63 on PS4 and PC, and 69 on Xbox One. On Metacritic, Madden also received an 0.2/10 user score out of 5695 reviews.
