Madden NFL 22 is an American football video game, developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts. Based on the National Football League (NFL), it was released on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. It is currently the most recent release in the series. It was the first game to launch after the ninth generation consoles launched.

- Dynamic Gameday: Available only on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S version (not on PC), Dynamic Gameday introduces a more specific AI for each NFL team.
- Gameday Momentum: When a team gains the upper hand in the tug of war of an NFL game, the other team "feels pressure" by suffering from the effects of M-Factors the other team gains from the momentum system.
- Home Field Advantage: The "Home Field Advantage" term becomes a true gameplay mechanic where the home field team has a bonus M-Factor when defending their home field.
