Maitland Tiburon

The Maitland Tiburon appeared between Madden NFL 98 and Madden NFL 2004. They had an overall of 99. The team logo is a hammerhead shark to match the Tiburon company logo, a result of the word Tiburon meaning "Shark" in Spanish. The team has no special abilities. They were known as the Tiburon Tiburon between 1997 and 1999 and in 2000, they became the Maitland Tiburon.

While the team does not appear as a built in team since Madden NFL 2004 to Madden NFL 12 on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube consoles, the Tiburon Electronic Arts logo was available for the player to use in Create-A-Team starting in Madden NFL 2004. When creating a new team, the game will default to using the Tiburon logo in conjunction with naming the team the Tiburon Sharks, and basing the team in Maitland, Florida.

Tiburon Sports Complex

The Tiburon Sports Complex is where the Maitland Tiburon team plays. It has a grass field surface type and a capacity of roughly 55,000. The stadium itself has many depictions of hammerhead sharks alike with one end featuring teeth of a hammerhead shark as well.

Home: Blue helmet, Black jersey, blue pants.

Away: Blue helmet, White jersey, black pants.

Madden NFL 2001 to Madden NFL 2004:

Home: White Helmet, Blue Jersey, White Pants.

Away: White Helmet, White Jersey, Blue pants.

Trivia

The Tiburon Sports Complex is often nicknamed as the "Hammerhead Stadium" because of its images of Hammerhead Sharks.
The Maitland Tiburon and the Tiburon Sharks are basically the same team but are technically different from one another.
The Maitland Tiburon stadium and team is also shown from NCAA Football 99 to NCAA Football 2002 however only the stadium reappears in NCAA Football 2003, 2004, 2005, and 06.
